Kavod seeks to provide affordable housing and services to enhance the personal dignity of seniors and citizens with disabilities. Guided by Jewish tradition, we have designed our program to enrich the residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual quality of life and to help them maintain the highest possible level of independence.
Kavod Senior Living at Cherry Creek is a 62 or older, non-denominational, diverse senior community located in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver. Kavod is one block east of the Cherry Creek Mall and near many major banks, supermarkets, a pharmacy, movies and restaurants. Kavod has a history of providing affordable and subsidized apartment homes and services in the beautiful Cherry Creek neighborhood, convenient to the mall, restaurants, theatres, shops, and directly on public bus routes. Kavod Senior LIfe provides both Senior Housing for those who are self-sufficient and Assisted Living for those who need more care and attention and handicapped accessible apartments for all ages.
Kavod Assisted Living at Cherry Creek provides Assisted Living for those residents who need more care and attention than is available in independent living. Assisted Living residents live in the comfort of their own apartment with the assistance they need. Our Assisted Living Program is small and intimate; we know each resident and are able to meet their individual needs.
Support Services: Kavod Senior Life Resident Care Coordinators provide assistance with obtaining government benefits and community resources. From Signing up for government programs and benefits such as Medicaid and food stamps to obtaining information about community resources available to residents in the areas of medicine, transportation, educational and recreational programs and completing forms or obtaining necessary information regarding living wills or advance directives. Our Care Coordinators are there to help our residents and their families.
