Our experienced stylists exclusively use the Aveda colour line for healthy looking shine and rich colour.
With a relaxed atmosphere offering complimentary beer, wine, soda, comforting tea, and extended hours during the week, Headlines can offer you high quality services in a friendly, neighborhood salon. We provide full hair styling services for men and women as well as Men’s Barbering!

We are an AVEDA Concept Salon offering precision cuts and colour for men and women. We also carry full domains of Aveda hair care, makeup, skin care, and mens' care.
We offer Men's Barbering also!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Hair styling was a late passion for Cheri McGrath. With a business background, she felt the calling to learn a new skill that would open up opportunity in her new career. The rest is history!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Headlines takes great pride in exceptional customer service. We view all who enter our salon as guests and welcome them as though it was our home. We strive to go above and beyond in all aspects of customer service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have 1 location with long term ideas of adding space and services.

We are located at the intersection of S. Downing St. and Alameda Ave. It's a major intersection 3 blocks south of Speer Blvd., 2 blocks north of Washington Park, and 1/2 mile east of I-25. We are on the northeast corner of the intersection at 284 S. Downing St.
